Rehability’s occupational therapy services play a significant role within the broader spectrum of our allied health
services. Our occupational therapists can be employed either independently from other treatment approaches or as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Rehability's Occupational Therapy team are highly skilled in the management and treatment of a wide range of conditions and aim to support, educate and manage clients with difficulties in their activities of daily living, safety and mobility. Our team of occupational therapists extends across the metropolitan Melbourne area and staff are invited to join Rehability based on their experience, skills, areas of expertise and ability to provide a flexible and highly responsive service.
Most of Rehability’s occupational therapy services are provided in client's homes or in community settings. For example, educating clients to adopt new approaches to assist with showering, dressing, meal preparation and teaching clients how to access to transport easily and safely.
Services are also provided in organizational and corporate environments according to the needs of our clients.
In addition to their professional qualifications, our occupational therapists are trained in health and safety management in the home, risk management, aides and equipment purchasing and a range of funding requirements.
The quality of our services is characterised by our commitment to staff skills and experience; training and ongoing education; induction and refresher training in Rehability's policies, procedures and service values; and by specific training relevant to the provision of 'in-home' treatment. Rehability provides formal training and continuing education for its occupational therapists according to strict professional guidelines and policies.
